School's Out @ 6Lab

Full-day enrichment on MMSD no-school days: staff days, conference days, and breaks. Field trips, special projects, themed labs. Open to all kids ages 8–12, not just 6Lab families.

What ages does 6Lab Academy serve?
6Lab Academy serves children ages 8–12, typically in grades 3–6.
How does school pickup work?
Students are met at the designated school dismissal location and travel as a supervised group to the nearby 6Lab Academy program location. Currently serving Chávez Elementary.
What is the program schedule?
Monday through Friday, following school dismissal through 6:00 PM. Monday is our flagship extended day with the Food Science Culinary Lab. Tuesday through Friday include Academic Studio and STEM/maker activities.
How much does it cost?
Weekly tuition is $200.00/week with a one-time $75.00 registration and materials fee.
Is this a childcare facility?
6Lab Academy is an After-School STEM + Academic Studio. We're an enrichment program, not licensed childcare.
